OUR COMMON HUMANITY. JULY BOLAÑOS
Short documentary profile for artist Juli Bolaños.
Our Common Humanity is a multi-disciplinary project created in collaboration with the visual artist Juli Bolaños and commissioned by the Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation for Royal Edinburgh Hospital.
The film is divided in two sections: the first explores the practice and creative values of Juli as she works in her studio; the second tells the story of one of Juli’s glass sculptures in stop motion. Both sections were filmed and edited in Edinburgh.
This film was selected at the Real to Reel: The Craft Film Festival 2018 in London and the Pupila Film Festival 2018 in Costa Rica.
