SUN RISES. SMITTEN
Music video and first single of Smitten’s EP Blame.
The band guitarist Charlie Wild got in touch with the team to develop his original idea. The film explores the realms of reality in a meta-narrative that is open to interpretation. Hiro Murai and Michel Gondry count among the references we used for inspiration.
The shooting plan was divided in two: exterior and interior locations. The outdoor footage was executed with a camera on a shoulder rig and the interior shoot required a motorised slider tool and many iterations. The team performed some chemistry tricks on camera with the assistance of Cristina Garcia and David Sierra.
