Live performance recording for Wayward Jane at their home studio.
The band was looking to record a handful of new tunes and invited us to their home studio in Edinburgh. There it was the quartet, with coffee on offer and a smile in their faces. Wayward Jane are a multi-instrumental band that plays Scottish/American folk music.
We opted for a multi-camera recording with three cameras: a wide shot of the band and two other operated cameras focusing on the performance. After several takes per song, we made sure we had enough coverage and called it wrapped. The final film includes footage from the space and surroundings, motion graphics and a cut to beat editing treatment.
