teacher’s showcase
The Spoonful is a four-day festival about blues music, classes and dance competitions that takes place in Edinburgh every year since 2015.
The video captures the live performance of the teacher’s showcase in 2017 surrounded by a passionate community of friendly dancers from around the globe. We used a single camera with a Steadicam support system as well as ambient sound recording. The list of songs were provided by DJ Sigga.
The filming took place at the Leith Community Centre in Edinburgh.
